About Us

Ransica is a free guide to working abroad. We explain how jobs, salaries, work visas and permits really work in the countries people most often move to for work, so you can plan your next step with facts instead of rumours or paid "agents".

What we cover

  • Salaries: average pay by job and country, gross vs net pay, minimum wage and take-home pay. See our salary guides.
  • Work visas and permits: who qualifies, which documents you need, what it costs and how to apply step by step.
  • Finding work: where real employers advertise, how to apply and jobs that hire quickly.
  • Careers and training: apprenticeships, licences, certifications and public-sector jobs.
  • Staying safe: how to spot fake job offers and recruitment fraud. Read our 10 red flags of job scams.

Country guides: UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, New Zealand, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, South Africa and Nigeria.

How we research

Every guide is written by the Ransica Editorial Team using official sources first: government and immigration websites, tax authorities, statistics offices, public-sector pay scales and employer careers pages. We say which year each figure applies to, link to the official page where we can and update articles when rules or pay rates change.

Pay and visa rules vary by employer, region and personal situation, so always confirm the details on the official website before you apply, pay a fee or travel. Our content is general information, not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice.

What we are not

Ransica is not an employer, a recruitment agency or an immigration consultant. We do not offer, sell or guarantee jobs, visas or work permits, and we will never ask you for money. If someone asks you to pay for a job "through Ransica", it is a scam.

How Ransica is funded

Ransica is free to read and is supported by advertising. Ads are shown separately from our articles, and advertisers do not review or approve what we publish. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service explain how the site works and how we handle your data.
